So how does it all work? ... Simple really, in addition to open days, special events, guest artists, groups, team building and parties, you are welcome to come and join us for pre-paid classes or informal, pay-as-you-go 'drop-in' style sessions either on your own or with family or friends. Alternatively, if you already have skills and experience and just need facilities, talk to us about our flexible options. We also have a range of vouchers, artwork and 'takeaway' packs available 24/7 in our online shop.

Eastcott Studios is a hub for creative activity and personal growth! With a core of small, independent businesses, artists and crafters we support each other so we can offer a range of products, services and opportunities to individuals and our local community. From set classes and workshops to informal sessions where you can just enjoy the atmosphere, explore arts and crafts amongst groups of like minded participants, and while you are here, check out the onsite Thai Cafe & Takeaway, Art Gallery or Coffee shop ... Eastcott Studios really has something for everyone!

Pottery STUDIO

Pottery classes:  Pot Throwing, hand-building and 'paint-a-pot' pottery painting!

The Eastcott Studios Pottery studio has everything you need to 'get creative', we offer POT THROWING (on a potters wheel), HAND BUILDING (using coiling, pinching or slabbing), and paint-a-pot or POTTERY PAINTING (decorating pre-made items). We also offer vouchers and takeaway packs to do at home. Check out our WORKSHOPS where you can explore the world of ceramics alongside other like-minded participants.

Why not drop in and join us in our fantastic pottery studio which is conveniently situated close to Swindon town centre at 28 Eastcott Hill, Swindon SN1 3JG. The pottery Studio is in the BACK studio so simply follow the arrows to our Stafford Street entrance. There is limited parking to the front but other parking is also available at the bottom of the hill in Regent Circus.

ART STUDIO 

Gallery Cafe and Art Studio:  MAMS GALLERY with Emma Amini 

In our Gallery Studio we are proud to have been joined at Eastcott Studios by artist Emma Amini who runs MAMS GALLERY.

This is a fantastic haven for artists at all levels. With the addition of the Total Health Cafe, you can enjoy the company of artists for a chat and a cuppa, check out their range of CBD and Health products or join one of their many drop in art or health workshops including Beginners and Improvers Art, Art 'Jams', Life Drawing and Comic Book or Sequential Art. Therapeutic art and individual lessons are also available on request. The gallery also displays original works of art by local artists, resident artists and students to view or purchase.

GLASS STUDIO

Introduction to Glass Fusion for beginners and improvers

The Eastcott Studios Glass studio allows you to get creative with glass. We offer monthly GLASS FUSION workshops where we introduce you to  cutting, shaping and building glass into beautiful dishes, suncatchers, bowls, sculptures, coasters and more. The Stone Studio is in the REAR COURTYARD at Eastcott Studios, 28 Eastcott Hill, Swindon SN1 3JG Full opening hours and details of the current courses on offer can be found on their website

Run by qualified and experienced Stone Mason, David Wilkins, you can come along to one of the introductory, whole day experience days and learn the basic techniques then follow it up with regular 'drop in' weekly sessions to suit you. Ideal for beginners.

THE COURTYARD  

Courtyard Arts: Covered courtyard 

Amazing outdoor space adds a whole new dimension to what we offer at Eastcott Studios. Nestled between the Pottery studio and the Gallery Cafe, The Courtyard hosts Exhibitions, Craft sales, Open Days, Art Markets and workshops. We also have community 'Knit and Natter', Creative Crafts, Scrabble / Backgammon and art groups using the Courtyard that you are very welcome to join in with. You can also use the space for pottery painting or simply chilling out with coffee and cake!
